After clicking the start arrow, the endless buffer spinning wheel just keeps on spinning, and while I can see a blurry version of what looks like a viewer logon page behind it, it never loads. I've been waiting for about 5 minutes now. It doesn't even error out.

Same issue. I made sure that my browser wasn't blocking any (secure) content and the loading icon just keeps spinning. I switched to Chrome, and after a few seconds, I was informed that "too many people are trying Second Life."
There doesn't seem to be a queue (as implied by "wait times may occur") so it's just a matter of trying again later and getting lucky.
Web browser: Brave 1.73.104, based on Chromium 131.0.6778.204.

Thunder Rahja I'm using Brave 1.73.104 Chromium: 131.0.6778.204 as well. I can't use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox right now, but will experiment with them later.

Firestorm keeps on spinning.
Chrome says "too many people" after a while.
Would be nice if all browsers did more or less the same things.

I was able to try Brave on a different computer, as well as Edge. Same behavior with the endless spinning on Brave. Edge actually gave the too many users error like others have seen in Chrome.

I turned off Shields Up in Brave and that allowed it to fail out like the other browsers with the message about too many users.
A few days later (today), I was able to successfully log into SL via the browser for at least 3 sessions (they each closed after the 10-minute timeout).
