World Map showing white for non-BP textured objects

I don't know if this should be considered a bug report or feature request, but considering the purpose ( I think? ) of giving a birds-eye view of a region on the worldmap, showing white elements in the region tile on the world map where objects don't have BB textures goes against the purpose and I therefore consider this a bug. I couldn't find a better "board" to report this in than the Viewer Bug Reports board unfortunately.
I understand that we can't have the world map render in the full PBR glory, but couldn't it at least draw from the Base Color map when PBR textures are used?
Except for the big skybox which is not yet with PBR textures, you can see the white elements in the screenshot map views (World Map and Nearby Radar / Minimap).
Thank you!

Hello, and thank you for your detailed report regarding the rendering of non-BB textured objects on the World Map. This issue has been brought up in the past and is currently tracked. We understand the importance of having a clear and accurate representation of regions on the World Map, especially with the increasing use of mesh objects. While we don't have an estimate for when this might be addressed, please keep an eye on future updates. Your input is invaluable, and we appreciate your effort in helping us improve Second Life.
