Friends status is on-line; but they are not.

Friends status is ‘on-line’, refreshing / re-logging still says the status is ON-LINE and when a chat is started, then they reported as OFF-LINE and they are, but the avatar status and chat lines still says they are on-line. Annoying. Very annoying.

I guess we'll bump this 9 months later? Second Life dashboard (and viewer): 9 friends online; meanwhile Second Life Mobile insisting: 23 friends online (at least some of which have been displayed as online for several days.)
Logging in a friend on desktop (friended alt) while logged in on mobile and then logging that second account out will remove it from the online friends list.
Very strange.

This is still happening and extremely unusable. 3 friends marked as on-line yesterday, none were.
