I received a developers feedback. Yes I updated the mobile app. No I still cannot open or close a door at my Linden House.

I can sit on a chair, however I cannot stand up again, so my review (which I cannot find) stands, only good for messages, but then messages are disconnected from the Web version of SL, so not very helpful there either.
