I’m reporting a serious billing issue related to Marketplace homepage subscriptions.

Date of the incident: August 6, 2025
Issue type: Multiple charges for active subscriptions + premature charge outside billing cycle
ALT account (same issue occurred): EmilyHearts
Details of multiple charges on August 6, 2025:
Numerous charges occurred on August 6, 2025, for subscriptions that were already active and should not have been charged multiple times.

Specific premature charge:
The charge on August 6, 2025, at 16:22:53 (Order #1649893957, L$ 2,599) was billed prematurely.
The last correct charge was on July 30, 2025, and the next scheduled charge should have been on August 29, 2025. This is an error resulting in an early and unintended billing.

DimplesApplePie Spicy I see on our end that the refunds have gone through, but canny is sending me a ghost notification saying you've commented and still haven't received them. For my sanity, would you mind confirming you were refunded for your charges?

Marketplace charged me multiple times within minutes for a single classified ad that was supposed to renew only once monthly.
It kept withdrawing until my entire Linden dollar balance was emptied — stopping only when there were no funds left to take.
This is unacceptable.

Hello all!
I want to thank everyone again for their patience while we dealt with this outage fallout. This has been the top priority for us to get this fix out.
We've done a mass refund of PLE orders that occurred during the outage, so we hope to have rectified the issue for all who were impacted. We will keep this ticket open for the time being while we make sure everything is all settled on our end.

We have identified a fix and will be sending out a refund to merchants for erroneous PLE transactions today. We know that this has been very disruptive to merchants and once the refunds have completed, we will work to make sure this doesn't happen again.

I was affected for L$ 23,391, that's a week groceries for me and my kids! This situation scares me! And please fix this by refunding the money and not give credit for subscriptions or something like that.
