[deltaFPS] [extraFPS] Animated pbr textures don't animate
complete
scriptorus Resident
Objects with an animated pbr textures stop animating the texture when we look elsewhere and back to the object.
A right click on the object triggers the animation again.
(a bit like the object not spinning as they should, a right click does the trick)
Happens on mac and pc
This doesn't happen if the material is not pbr.

Complete? This bug is fixed?

josecarlos Balan When they mark an issue correction as complete, it doesn't mean the fix is already implemented in the current release or public betas. But from what the developer told me, she found the issue and fixed it, so it should be ported to the public soon.

Bugs with animated textures in PBR viwer 7.1.11

Bugs with animated textures (llSetTextureAnim) in PBR. With the old materials everything works fine, but with PBR it loses movement until you right click on the object. Before this version 7.1.11 of the viewer everything worked fine and for the Blinn-phong materials it continues to work fine

Thanks for the report, josecarlos!
We've already had this filed so it will be merged into the original Canny post.

I can confirm this is happening with the PBR Water I use, it was fine until recent, all this is going to do is force people back to Blinn water

Animated PBR textures using llSetTextureAnim appear randomly broken in the recent SL viewers

Set a texture to animated using this script function, happens with the cell function too. They randomly stop and only start again when they're selected

Thanks Cube!
Looks like this is the same as https://feedback.secondlife.com/bug-reports/p/deltafps-extrafps-animated-pbr-textures-dont-animate so these 2 issues will be merged.

Atlas Linden Thanks. I've been working on something with this for over a month now and checked out the new tone mapper and was like oh no!
