Inventory Favourites - Favourite Items are hidden if a parent polder is also tagged as Favourite

- Tag (as Favourite) and item (eg a Hat). It lists in Favourites Ok.
- Tag a parent folder (eg Accessories). The hat is no longer shown in Favourites.
- Remove Tag from Accessories, the hat reappears.
This is NOT desirable behaviour. The point of tagging an item is to avoid having to walk the inventory tree to get to it. We should certainly be able to Tag an important folder, as well as a few selected key items within it.
This behaviour is consistent between SL viewer and Firestorm.

Hi JoyofRLC.
This is the expected behavior. When a favorited item is in a favorited folder, the favorited item will only appear in the favorited folder.
You could file a feature request if you feel this important.

I will ... as explained I do not this this is desirable behaviour; it greatly diminishes the utility of the feature, as when in favourites tab you open the parent folder you expose the entire contents, favourite or otherwise.
What is the rationale for this?
