Everything except the avitar is out of focus and if i move the camera about 100cm to the avitar that is out of focus as well. The issue is your code.

Images blurring and focusing repeatedly and or being blurry and staying that way is related to CHROME - or Edge which is Chrome based. If you ctrl alt del bring up Task Manager and kill all instances of Chrome or Edge it stops doing it. Don't know why ... but I do know Kokua doesn't do it.

Hi Steph.
The only option I can think of that will cause focus is Preference > Graphics > Advanced Settings > Depth of Field. Try turning that off if it's enabled and see if that fixes it.
If that doesn't help, please attach a screenshot of what you're seeing. You can attach a screenshot by clicking the paperclip icon in a comment here.

Dan Linden the issue is code related, the only way to resolve the problem is by removing the previous version and doing a clean install. My GPU is NVIDIA RTX 4070 so can not comment on other GPUs but am certain that something is not being fully over written. Incedently I had already tried your suggestion. Thanks for the prompt reply, regards S
Additional, the mirror mode no longer stops working when one has logged out and back in or when gone elsewhere on the grid. So it is clear a clean instal is reqiured.

steph Arnott: I think you're saying that this issues was resolved by uninstalling Second Life and installing the Release viewer from https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ Is that right?
Do you recall what the previous version of SL that you had installed, and what version you installed over it? Here's a list of previous viewers. https://releasenotes.secondlife.com/categories/viewer.html

Dan Linden, so, recent update from last update is not a massive clue? Before that it was a new instal as this is a new computer.
Dan Linden
steph Arnott: Is this issue fixed for you now?
steph Arnott
Dan Linden I he already stated that a complete removal and re-instal was the solution. The only preference settings changed in the last updated was the mirror parameters which are exactly as they are now. Once AGAIN the issue was caused by the recent update not over writing existing values, either in the code or the system index. Please stop repeating questions when the answers have already been posted.

steph Arnott thats a great way to not get help lol

Tech Robonaught, what help, the issue was caused by the update which I stated several times, also it has absolutely nothing to do with what you laughingly posted, the issue was caused by a failure to remove stored values and replace with the new. The issue was resolved by a clean install. And BTW Tech know nothing I do not have Chrome or Edge installed on my system.

steph ArnottCalm down Beavis, two things can be true at the same time.

Tech Robonaught, you are just trolling, stop posting pointless useless comments.
Tech Robonaught
steph Arnott weather you know it or not, your built in SL web browser is Chrome based and Media on a Prim is Chrome based. So yes, you kinda do have chrome. I'm just saying for Dan Lindens sake that being an ass to the people trying to help is probably not the best way to get help.
steph Arnott
Tech Robonaught, what part of 'the issue was caused by the update ' are you failing to understand? The issue was by Linden code not overwriting system values. And WTF has 'media on a prim ' got to do with scene rendering? Stop posting, it is making you look like a fool.

steph Arnott ok triggered.
Crexon Resident
steph Arnott stop being an asshat to people trying to help you. Its making you look like a fool. You more you post the more it starts looking like problem in chair, not computer LOLOLOL

Crexon Resident, what help, a Linden who appears to be either a bot or lacking basic communication skills and a troll who clearly knows zero and you who is another troll? I resolved the issue which Linden clearly noticed others with the issue and released an update 24hrs ago correcting the register codex. Go troll elsewhere, you are helping no one, not even you self.
