[PBR] Align Planar Faces Not Functioning

Additionally, it appears that the texture alignment overlay is always tied to the transforms of the Blinn-Phong material.
To Reproduce:
- Rez two prims and place them next to each other.
- Place a glTF material on adjacent faces on prims.
- Set texture mode to Planar
- Ensure both texture transforms of both faces do not match.
- Click Align Planar Faces Checkbox

This issue appears to be caused by the fact that blinn textures scale and offset from the center, whereas PBR offsets from the corner, meaning all of the planar calculations are wrong.
Fixing this would also go a long way to modernizing ingame creation tools as people would be able to better match the visual fidelity of prim builds with mesh ones. Definitely a must-have fix!

I too am having the same issue. Weirdly, it was working yesterday, and now it won't work. I'm having to remove PBR materials on my build until this is resolved.

I am now having issues with Plinn-Phong on both default and Planar. Is there any hope of a fix??

Is there any updates on this? I can't release any PBR products without this user interface function. What a PITA!

Blinn-Phong planar textures are messing up as well. When I try to line up Blinn-Phong textures I will see them lined up. Everyone else does not see them lining up. If I click the Align button they still do not see the texture lining up. However, if I check the Align planar faces button then uncheck it and check it again, they will see the texture line up, most of the time. At times you have to check and uncheck several times before they can see them aligning. This issue now has me at a dead stop in building since I never know who is able to see what textures lined up.

MeadowLuna Resident This is tied to the discrepancy with synchronize materials, which may need to be individually refreshed. Would also be great to fix this issue, although planar doesn't work at all on PBR
