This is non-stop, it happens sometimes on teleport, sim crossings, and the MOST annoying is it happens frequently when I'm standing still or just moving within a sim. I've tried everything under the sun, clean installs, cache clears, usin' different versions of firestorm and second life viewer, clean install of my 4090 drivers, rolling back those drives, swapping out my modem through xfinity, used AI, and nothing works! It's to the point I can barely log in and do anything, please if there are any fixes or if this is a known issue bein' worked on let me know!

So this issue is tracked here: https://github.com/secondlife/viewer/issues/1015 the change is already integrated and it should come out in a new release soon. My best guess for when it'll come out is sometime after thanksgiving but this is not guarantees of anything. So it might be later! It might be sooner! I just want you guys to have feedback!

I use a bat file to disable the viewer media on a prim and web features when these errors bug me a lot. When I want those features back i use another reversal bat script.
@echo off
:: Adds Debugger key to suppress SLPlugin.exe crash popup
:: Side effect: media on prim and web features will not work
net session >nul 2>&1
if %errorLevel% neq 0 (
powershell -Command "Start-Process '%~f0' -Verb RunAs"
exit /b
)
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\SLPlugin.exe" /v "Debugger" /t REG_SZ /d "%%windir%%\System32\cmd.exe /c exit" /f
if %errorLevel% == 0 (
echo.
echo Done. Crash popup suppressed.
echo Media on prim and web features will NOT work.
) else (
echo.
echo Failed. Try running as administrator.

It collapses every time for years on one laptop, but not on the other one or the desktop.
All running the same software. Assumed it was a hardware clash.
SL still runs without it.

Have you tested Firestorm's 7.2.5 beta? Because this particular issue is fixed in that version, however it is simply just errors in event viewer that were harmless and as Jellyfish Linden said, shouldn't cause any problems and every single user for years has gotten this in event viewer without side-effect.

Are you crashing? This looks like https://github.com/secondlife/viewer/issues/1015 but that shouldn't stop you from doing anything.

Jellyfish Regardless it's weird that not even a single attempt at fixing this issue has been made, according to that GitHub thread, in 2 years.

AlettaMondragon Resident But it has though, this is fixed in Firestorm (and LL viewer when it gets put into a release version) as of a month ago-

Hecklezz Resident Ah thank you! I wonder why these get stuck in the official development while they get fixed in FS, I have a few bugs tracked on Canny which got fixed in FS since, but they apparently weren't even triaged (on GitHub). Maybe Dan and co don't even know about these fixes from TPV devs?
