Animation Priority Change By User

Currently, a specific animation priority level must be specified by the creator and after uploading it to SL, that priority level cannot be altered.
However, the priority level of each animation should be user adjustable in SL.

This is a long over due feature.

I agree, also, a new explanation of how to set priorities. I use firestorm to create an ao with specific priorities but they override most other item scripts in priority. I can change from 3 to 4 in most animations, but I still have issues with objects and poses often. I kno, im not great at it, and it's user error mostly, but making it easier with the ability to change, seems like it would help.

Rain Jezebel It's only user error when the user has a animations with different priorities and they make the less optimal choice.
Some, but not all, animations are sold with different levels in the package.

I support this. If no priority is specified by the object/ui priority selector, then it uses the file priority by default.

Would be nice if we when playing an animation can decide its priority (both when playing through the UI, and when doing so using scripts).

Hello, and thank you for your feature request regarding the ability to adjust animation priority levels after uploading them to Second Life. This is indeed a valuable suggestion that could enhance user control and improve the overall experience. Interestingly, another resident has brought up a similar idea in the past, and we are merging your comments to expedite the review process. We have set this feature request to tracked, and while we cannot provide an estimate on when it might be implemented, please keep an eye on future updates. We appreciate your input and hope you continue to share your ideas to help improve Second Life. Thank you!
