Improve Inventory Manager

The Inventory Manager is a crucial tool - we use it all the time. Tons of functions but i am missing two basic things: Dual Pane View and Favorites !
- Dual Pane View:
Many people open often a second window for batch operations - unfortunately also hidden good, some clicks & arranging.
I would propose an optional dual pane view to make that more comfortable. Users view two sections by default when opening inventory.
Drag & drop items from one pane to another without losing place or having to navigate back & forth. I would also add a default source & destination path.
- Favorites:
We have already "Favorites" as separated window - i know. But why is it not integrated in the inventory manager ?
Marking objects & folders as favorite on the fly would help a lot for to organize & locate their objects.
For example: Favorite outfits, attachments, your own development etc etc.
If you have good ideas how to improve the file manager more - just add it :)

Inventory Split View – Separate Folder Tree and Folder Contents
AlisonFaye Resident
I’d like to suggest an optional split-view layout for the inventory, similar to Windows Explorer.
Currently, opening a folder expands its contents directly inside the folder tree. For folders containing many items, this can make the tree extremely long and makes navigating between folders more cumbersome.
With a split view, the left side would remain a compact folder tree, while the contents of the currently selected folder would be displayed in a separate pane on the right.
The contents pane could also support useful columns such as Name, Type, Permissions, Date, and Creator, with sorting by those columns.
This would make large inventories much easier to browse and organize without changing the underlying inventory structure. Ideally, the existing tree view could remain available, with split view added as an optional display mode.
The attached mockup shows the general idea.
I think “Inventory Split View” is probably the best short name for it. Another good title would be “Explorer-style Inventory View”, but the first one sounds a bit more like an actual viewer feature request.
While the official viewer has a Single Folder View, I’d like to suggest a true two-pane inventory layout similar to Windows Explorer. The folder hierarchy would remain visible and compact on the left, while the contents of the currently selected folder would be displayed in a dedicated pane on the right.
(I know this Screenshot is from Firestorm, i used use it to convey the idea.)

Title: Dual pane inventory viewer with predefined source and target
Details: Like many people sometimes i need to sort the inventory. Usually i do this: open a new inventory viewer (which is hidden behind two clicks) and use drag and drop.
Can we have a setting that always two inventory viewers are opened with predefined source and target directory ?
Best regards.

so many times, i open two inventory views, i have 'clothing' open in one, and 'received items' in another... i drag from received items into clothing, and the second window jumps to clothing, too.
ARGH!

Tag/Keyword: Would be nice if creators could tag their products as metadata attached to the prim. So you could search for something in the group of such related item. As well let user create folders with automation that any incoming item with tag/keyword attached to it get pushed into that specific folder.
