Increased group limits

Overall increase in group space for all residents is needed. There are hundreds of creators, business owners, and people in secondlife and so many are talented.
It's a shame we can't show our support due to the current group limits. 42, 50, 70, and 140 is not enough.
I am a current Premium plus member and 140 is just not enough. I find myself constantly having to choose between which groups to leave in order to join another.
I propose an increase to the following:
Basic Members--100 group limit
Plus Members--150 group limit
Premium Members--250 group limit
Premium Plus Members--400 group limit
People who are worried about notifications due to larger group limits please remember you can turn off group notifications.
I think the larger group limits will help everyone whether they are business owners, consumers, or just someone making a group for hangout purposes. The current group limits don't allow us to scratch even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to supporting and connecting with others.

Either that or allow a group payment toggle where you do not need to pay again to rejoin if you accidentally left or left because you had to make temporary space.

This topic is STILL "under review" since Oct.11.24! Are the decision-makers even playing SL inworld? It's Dec.15.24 now, and every awesome event and give-love stores require group join and we're all stuck with limited group slots and can't leave dead groups that have expensive join fees. How long does it take for a simple yes or no?

Second Life is supposed to be a social space. Limiting social interactions in the form of groups does negatively impact the social atmosphere of second life. Many people, myself included, have left social groups over the years in favor of paid store groups. We feel stuck in these groups because they cost money to join
This means that there is a very visible decline to general socializing with strangers in the form of through groups. Sims which are intended to be social spaces often can't even get activity going in their inworld groups for this reason. It's a serious issue that is only going to get worse with age.
An alternate solution would be to create types of groups with specific limits to those types (Business/Store, Help and Social). Frankly speaking, the current very low number of group slots is a complaint I universally hear across SL.

I totally agree with you, I find it rather useful to increase the capacity of groups, especially because apart from friendly groups and clubs, there are those of store and spot that you paid in linden and it is not wise to leave them, especially if some required 2k+ roughly.

I totally agree with you groups are not enough also for basic membership for example i am a basic but i am a manager nand host in different club and i am also a breeder so 42 groups are not enough for all , spam for club , join on different grupo for breedables place and so on

I'm a premium user, manager of a singer, the groups are too small, it's not enough let's start a subscription, at least have a few more bands

Tania0609 Resident A subscription option of sorts would be awesome, especially for creators/business people. Announcements and gifts/items could be sent via subscription. Then group spaces could actually saved and be used for more social settings like family/club/hangouts, etc where people will want to talk in a group chat with each other.

I'm a singer manager I'm not premium but I need more groups to work better anyway, so it's right, I agree for sure!
