MERCHANT OUTBOX - please make it 'can not delete' ?

Hello,
A few days ago i was super busy & stress IRL (or i would have realised what happened !...), i managed to delete my whole Merchant Outbox (the one in inventory).
My request is this : would it be please possible to 'stick' the folder 'Merchant Outbox' (in inventory) like all items in Library are.
Just 'cannot delete'. Now it can just 'go in the bin & vanish'.
Lately (few months) there have been odd 'movements' in inventory. Movements = folders that move to other spots.
Like : the whole folder of short dresses goes 'poof'.
Actually it has not vanished (it appears to be though), it suddenly sits under a whole different folder (like 'furniture outside' or other).
This happened with my marketplace folder as well. It was NOT, again, on 'his spot'.
Is this SL problem or viewer problem?
When i cleared out-up a whole folder (cleaning of older items and boxing up items). When i went to delete the trash, i saw 'are you sure to delete', passing by 'very huge amount' ?
This was weird. Too much going on IRL, forgot this...
Resulted to : this was a real number! And result is that my items are gone (still in the MP folder ofc).
LL ticket resulted in it's not possible to retrieve your items.
Yes i know all sits in the MP folder (itself).
It's a matter of : can this folder be 'cannot be deleted'. Is all.
Thanks.

Hello Imbolc — thank you for writing this up, and I’m sorry you ran into this (especially during a stressful time).
We were able to find an older report covering the same underlying issue in Second Life’s previous bug tracking system (the Jira archive):
BUG-3394
. That report discusses the Merchant Outbox being a system folder, how it can become missing/broken if it’s exposed by a non-compliant viewer or inventory issues, and the resulting inability to use the Outbox.Because your request is essentially to prevent the
Merchant Outbox
system folder from being deleted (and/or to restore it when it’s been removed), we’re marking your report as a duplicate
and setting it to Tracked
under BUG-3394
so all comments and impact are consolidated in one place. We don’t have an ETA for a fix, but tracking it helps the team prioritize and investigate options like making the folder non-deletable and/or improving recovery when it goes missing. Thanks again for taking the time to report it.
