Option to Block Incoming Gifts and L$ Transfers

Hello Linden Lab,
I would like to request a feature that allows residents to block incoming monetary or item transfers, either globally or on a per-user basis. Specifically, I am asking for the ability to prevent other users from sending me Linden Dollars or gifting me items without my consent.
There are situations where I have clearly communicated that I do not want to receive gifts or money, yet individuals continue to send them regardless. This removes my control over financial interaction and places me in uncomfortable social situations that I cannot prevent through existing tools. While blocking communication helps in some cases, it does not resolve unwanted financial transfers initiated as a way to push interaction or emotional pressure.
An optional setting to refuse all incoming gifts and/or L$ transfers, with an additional ability to selectively block specific users from sending them, would give residents meaningful autonomy over how they engage financially in Second Life. This would help prevent boundary violations, reduce harassment, and support consent-based interaction.
Thank you in advance.

I have to agree, we should be able to accept or decline $L with those funds going back to the sender if declined. (There should also be the option to auto-accept linden transfers for merchants.) Blocking gifts is not as simple due to the use of sales systems. Most sales systems send the item in a way that it can be declined but the sender will lose their money. Should be able to block gifts in MP tho.

Yes we should be asked if we would like to receive the Ls first, accept or decline.

Hello, and thank you for your feature request regarding the option to block incoming gifts and L$ transfers. This is indeed an important issue that affects many residents. We wanted to let you know that another resident brought up a similar concern in the past, and we are merging your comments with the existing issue to get to it faster. The original issue was tracked under BUG-231081 in Second Life's previous bug tracking system. We have no estimate when it may be implemented, but please keep an eye on future updates. We appreciate your input and hope you continue to share your ideas to help improve Second Life. Thank you!
