Option to hide prims in other parcels above 1000m

The ability to hide prims rezzed in other parcels above 1000m would allow users living in densely populated sims to not have their views obstructed by their neighbor's skyboxes. This would also include disabling the physics of hidden prims on other parcels so your neighbors cannot obstruct your own land.
We can already hide avatars on other parcels, so this seems to be a logical extension.

You can reduce draw distance which will reduce a lot of builds but that is all that can be done. A parcel is part of a whole and the whole is on one server which means that you can only put an abject between you and the other

we can already hide visibility of avatars outside our parcel. prims wouldn't be much of a reach.

steph Arnott I think a way this could be implemented would be similar to how you can temporarily de-render objects client-side, but in a "automatic when enters specific height of parcel with setting enabled, objects automatically re-render if you go back under 1000m or leave parcel" sort of set-up. Sort of like draw distance but it respects parcel boundaries instead of just distance?
Additionally or alternatively, rentals-specific sims could have a sim-wide "can't see objects in other parcels" setting that auto-adds to this 'secondary temporary object blacklist' maybe? It would require keeping track of what's in and out of parcel, and obviously be a long-term type of goal due to code complexity, but a lot of people who only live in skyboxes would appreciate a feature like this if it was possible.
