Pagination in the Group Interface
complete

Groups are by and large a major tool within SL. For land management and such, this works very well. But, when it comes to businesses in SL those with especially large groups are unable to manage those groups due to how data is being drawn into the viewer. In order to fix this, pagination should be implemented so that only a set amount of data is pulled into the viewer at once. This would work like the current user search, or if you want a out side of SL example, any search engine. Any modern software utilizes pagination so that it isn't grabbing all the records at once. This would allow for group managers of these incredibly big groups to actually manage their groups

Two Separate Group Fields

I was thinking, due to the limited number of groups we can have, would it be feesible to have two sections listed for groups on our Profile>
One Group Section where can have 'Safe' groups/places, such as Stores, Shops, G-rated clubs, etc.
A second Group Section which can list the more 'Adult' groups and places such as escot clubs, etc. This second group can be minimised on the profile and for someone checking out a profile that is not the user, the group list will expand and reveal with a warning before hand that the groups/places listed will contain adult themes.
This way someone not interested in knowing about these groups don't need to be exposed to them.
This would be better than simply hiding the groups as then no one can see them other than the user.

I agree. and have the same question with Angel Rizzo.
Angel Rizzo
Regardless of everything that has already been said about BOM and App, I want to know what the impact would be on computer performance to render everything around with large 2K textures.

Angel Rizzo mmh wrong place to ask that question :)

Angel Rizzo Well, I was house shopping the other day and came across a nice cape. When i got close enough for everything to fully rezz my GPU fan started trying to make my PC fly. upon inspecting the house i noticed every single part was a 1024 texture. The doorknobs, nails, lightbulbs, drawer pulls, handles on appliances, Every single texture. The lag around it was incredible. I was getting between 5 and 10 FPS. I usually get 60 -80. Now picture all those textures as 2048s.

Angel Rizzo sorry! It seems that two completely unrelated feedback suggestions were merged into one, and I wasn't aware of that mrger. Why it happened is beyond anyone's understanding. My comment was only because the
original
feedback I was giving was related to groups
, not 2K textures!Eye Daddy
This is necessary!
