What are you referring to specifically?
steph Arnott
Timothy McGregor, the information banner that pops up when the mouse hovers for a 10th of a second
Timothy McGregor
steph Arnott That's what I thought. See Vincent's comment.
steph Arnott
Timothy McGregor, that does not work on object banners. What he refers to is a script, not a system code.
Vincent Nacon
steph Arnott A scripted object can't do that. What you're talking about is literally the viewer's option. What the scripted object only can do is change type of click, nothing to do with how the information is presented. It can change the name of the object but that's it. The viewer handle the display of this info.

Vincent Nacon, you clearly are confused, I am talking about the system object banner which pops up when the mouse hovers over an object, that info is in the object description field, it can not be made invisable.
steph Arnott
Vincent Nacon,
Vincent Nacon
steph Arnott Not confused... that's literally what I was talking about. You can disable it.
steph Arnott
Vincent Nacon, no you can not. Stop posting when you know nothing
Vincent Nacon
steph Arnott Ok! Good luck! :D
Vincent Nacon
Pretty sure you can disable this option.
Go to View menu and turn off Hover Tips.
You can also press Ctrl+Shift+T to disable/enable it.
