As a creator sometimes I have ongoing communications with customers.
Sometimes I remember that somebody messaged me with a query and I need to send them an update, but I can't remember who it was.
The 'Recent' Tab seems to always be empty during those times (is it tied to login session?).
What I really need is some kind of UI that shows me who I have conversed with in IM over a given period of time. Let me see who I was talking to a day ago, a week ago etc. This will help me avoid missing important connections or leaving customers hanging because I've lost their username.

I have a server my account is on for stores and is logged into pretty much 24/7. Since I can't directly play sl on my office computer for security reasons. I use to use different pcs. Which makes conversation even harder to track as it never fully moves place to place on multi pcs. I run everything in a remote desk top on one my works screens. Does not tax PC you on either using remote desktop. Reason I say this is I started copying past conversations by date time user names in a data base on it. I have it all 3 seconds in one place now. Makes it crazy easy look up past sales issues. Also I can search it by item. Makes update redeliveries crazy easy. Whole list names for item is there 5 seconds. It's never been easy to find past conversations in viewers. All sorting options seem to never sort. Do that was my fix to the issue. 10 years sales in data base now

Top menu bar: Communicate > Conversation Log

Just save chats to your computer using your Preference setting. Sort by date to see the most recent.

Can you include a screenshot of what you're seeing (the blank 'Recent' tab)? You should be able to find those queries in your conversation log, but we do want to make improvements around this UI, so we'd love to understand more about the issue you're seeing. Thanks!

Spidey Linden it is a bit of a pita to have to go dig in the file system to see who messaged you. I have had cases where I have crashed and the messages get lost before I can address them, which then turns into a forensic detective skit trying to go find them. A simple interface to quickly get back to previous messages would make life easier for those of us who cannot afford to lose those help requests.

I must confess I didn't even realize there was a 'Conversation Log' window up until about an hour ago :)
Perhaps a link to 'Conversation Log' from the Recent tab would help?
I guess it's a little unintuitive. One might assume 'Recent' to mean the last 7 days or something, but it instead seems to be tied to login session...

Extrude Ragu Spidey Linden I'd just add the Conversation Log as another tab on the People floater, or better yet merge it into the Recent tab.
