Allow Estate Manager to Toggle Minimap and Avatar Tags On/Off in a region

A couple of folks I spoke with that are a part of the First Person Shooter Community find that having the mini map on does ruin the immersion of combat in the region and would like to know if it would be possible to turn off the mini map and tags for those that enter the region/parcel. It would be preferred to disable the option as well so users cannot just use the developer tool so they would not bypass it.
The current workaround is using RLV to disable the mini map and tags and it would have to be called on command and it can be a waste of script time

Out of all the potential combat V2.0+ features that are in the works. This perhaps would be the most valuable one. As it stands now with different combat communities such as the SLMC, VICE, and etc. The minimap and the ability for everyone to see nametags is what really hinders true combat within a sim.
As a person who has been in the SLMC since the very beginning, everyone being able to easily tell where everyone else is really bogs down the enjoyment of combat. There is no grand plan or scheme to enact against an opposing force when said force always knows exactly where you and everyone in your group are at any given time.

Hello, and thank you for your feature request regarding the ability for Estate Managers to toggle the minimap and avatar tags on/off in a region. This is a great idea, especially for enhancing the immersion of combat and game-like environments in Second Life. We wanted to let you know that another resident has previously brought up a similar suggestion, and we have found a duplicate post from Second Life's previous bug tracking system (BUG-231986). We will be merging your comments with the existing request to help prioritize this feature. While we don't have an estimate on when this might be implemented, please keep an eye on future updates. We appreciate your input and hope you continue to share your ideas to help improve Second Life. Thank you!
