I am a big fan of giving players an official trophy to celebrate account age milestones. It would be awesome if it were a dual-use item something you can either rez on your land or wear on your avaar, but not neccesary a bear ;-). To preserve its value, it should definitely be no-copy, no-transfer.

Of course it also could be a lottery ticket to win like a photoshooting with the LDPW moles who would love to connect with residents in world.

A full sim is a bit much. A homestead isn't too bad an idea. A bump in weekly stipend also isn't a bad idea. Or a permanent increase in land holdings isn't a bad idea either. I like the idea of when an avi turns 21. But 18 isn't a bad number either. It encourages longevity and less alting out (or leaving altogether) to see that all of those years of investing in this grid are met with something more substantial than more of the same.

This is clearly excessive but a free upgrade to Premium would help to fill the large number of empty Linden homes. My original account turned 19 yesterday, it would be nice for LL to reward those of us who have stuck around.

I don't really see them doing a full sim but it would be a nice perk to get a discount on land or even a bonus free 1024 of main land on top of our paid tier allotment. might pull some interest in mainland again.

Nice idea - Fionne turns 21 next month! LOL. But in all seriousness, while this would be amazing, I don't see LL handing out full sims to every avi that turns 21 SL years old. I have an alt that will turn 21 in 2 years and a couple more that will turn 21 in about 4-5 years. I don't believe there is a way for LL to police all our alts to make sure only the original one gets a sim. That being said - I did uptick the counter for this suggestion. =)

It seems that this could be negatively exploited by users with fleets of alts to generate their own free continents, etc. Would need to be active and primary account holder only, if that can be tracked. There would need to be guardrails on this idea. A full sim seems a bit unrealistic, maybe a multiplier added to your land or prim availability, more favorable linden dollar exchange rate, etc?

This is a rather interesting idea, even if it was a homestead that was free with the option to upgrade it to a full sim for half the price on that one region, this would maybe be a more likely option to be more viable on LL end of things as this would probably cover server cost of the region on their end also, but that is just me speculating.

I think that maybe lowering the age limit a little also, maybe set at 15 years would be more ideal also. Another option could be to have something like this offered in stages, example - 10 year account gets one homestead half price, 15 years gets the homestead free, 20 years+ gets full region half price, something along these lines could maybe be explored also.

Another thing to add, would be that there should be certain restrictions put into place, like not being allowed to generate an income from the region (similar to a Gateway region), have a lower avatar limit, one per person so that no alt accounts of someone would be eligible etc.
