Please bring back LindenWorld into the SL grid, or build an exact replica of it!
It would be a great educational and historic place for all Residents to learn about Linden Lab and Second Life's prototype virtual world.
It could also act as a nostalgic place for the earliest Residents and Lindens to have reunions and meetings together.
LindenWorld could be placed in the Beta "Aditi" grid at the 1000,1000 grid coordinates where Da Boom should be, but isn't because there are no duplicate "San Francisco" regions in the Beta grid!
I would prefer this Beta grid option as I love the idea of the two virtual worlds running at the same time in the same space, but in two parallel grids in alternative universes.
I will presume that LindenWorld's "nine regions" were arranged as a 3x3 grid, as I've never seen or found an actual map of LindenWorld. This 3x3 arrangement nicely coincides with the arrangement of nine of the sixteen "San Francisco" regions of the Main grid.
On the attached map (below), I've pasted these "nine regions" of LindenWorld into the Beta Grid map where the missing and corresponding "San Francisco" regions of the main grid ought to be.
As you will notice, their positions are close to the corresponding Dore, Ahern, Morris and Bonafacio cluster of the Beta grid too.
Another alternative location idea suggestion would be to place the "nine regions" of LindenWorld into the Main grid at it's Teen SL continent (aka "Sharp"), filling in some of the vacant spaces where the "missing" regions of the 16 original "San Francisco" regions should be, but aren't.

Hello, and thank you for your feature request.
Incoming suggestions are reviewed in the order they are received by a team of Lindens with diverse areas of expertise. We consider a number of factors: Is this change possible? Will it increase lag? Will it break existing content? Is it likely that the number of residents using this feature will justify the time to develop it? This wiki page further describes the reasoning we use: Feature Requests
This particular suggestion, unfortunately, cannot be tackled at this time. However, we regularly review previously deferred suggestions when circumstances change or resources become available.
Should you wish to build an emulation of LindenWorld, using the current tools and simulators available, we encourage such a project!
We are grateful for the time you took to submit this feature request. We hope that you are not discouraged from submitting others in the future. Many excellent ideas to improve Second Life come from you, our residents. We can’t do it alone.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Second Life.

you clearly havnt done your homework before posting this. The regions are on the main grid. What you suggest was the old beta of SL of regions that are still online starting with Da Boom region. Your pictures outline what was called the key regions, key to your imagination.
Though i did vote for this as it would be nice to see what the internal alpha test was like back in the day. im even willing to download the original client to connect just to explore.

VenKellie Resident You're mistaken, I've researched this thoroughly with help from several friends (both Lindens and Residents) who were part of both LindenWorld and Second Life.
Firstly, I suggested that a replica or restoration of the original LindenWorld regions could be positioned in the vacant positions where copies of SL's sixteen "San Francisco" regions are currently absent or "missing", illustrated by the key shaped arrangements which I marked on my maps.
The duplicates of Second Life's original sixteen "San Francisco" regions are missing in the Beta grid and also on the Main grid at the Teen SL continent. I like the idea of LindenWorld and Second Life running in the same place and at the same time, but in parallel universes/grids.
Secondly, just because the four regions you illustrated are named "LindenWorld" (A,B,C,D) does not necessarily mean those are copies or duplicates of the actual LindenWorld. The original LindenWorld had 9 regions, not 4 and none of those 9 regions had region names, while the 4 you mentioned do.
There have been previous occurrences of the "LindenWorld" name being used in SL before; there was once a two-region sized amusement park in the Sansara continent named "LindenWorld" which operated during October 2003 to January 2004.
These two "LindenWorld" amusement park regions were immediately to the west of Dore and Bonafacio and were named Coney and Luna which were accessed by a connecting bridge lined with decorative towers. But both "LindenWorld" amusement park regions were closed in 2004 due to declining interest.
Luna region was not deleted, it was relocated by one diagonal space to the southwest to become the "Luna Oaks" Linden mall, which still exists. Coney was later fully deleted from the grid.
Weeks later, both void spaces previously used by Coney and Luna for the amusement park were replaced by two newly created regions in the same space named Miramare and Grigano, to build the Nova Albion city development which opened in March 2004.
