When a resident chooses to occupy a Linden home, add an Opt-in checkbox for Holiday Events participation. What this option would do is flag the parcel to LL as "This resident wants to participate in community Holiday events" such as the Halloween Trick-or-Treat event for example. LL can then can improve their event system to auto-deliver the holiday event items to the resident the day the event begins instead of leaving it to the resident to visit a hub to grab the event items.

Better yet, with this Holiday Opt-in option, LL could even auto-rez a candy bucket that's not even on the resident's parcel but next to the house rezzer instead. This would eliminate the problem of residents hiding their candy bucket like it's some kind of "hunt" and the problem of security orbs (even the "nice" ones that follow the 15 second rule.) And having all buckets rezzed out on the first day of the event would give collectors more time to participate with less fear of missing out on the prizes.
