Proposal for Boating Connection Between Alpine and Newbrooke Themes

Hello LDPW,
With the release of the new Linden theme, I’d like to propose a connection between the Alpine Theme and the Newbrooke Theme for boating. Specifically, linking Valley Junction to Whatsupdock would create a navigable waterway that allows boaters to travel seamlessly between the Alpines and Newbrookes, this will allow for boating starting from Pierless. on the Easten side of the newbrookes.
This connection would open up a valuable route for the boating community, enhancing both accessibility and enjoyment across these regions.
Also an Additional connection can be made from Valley Junction to SSPRumTug.
Thank you for considering this request.

Uh, why?
The Alpines currently have no coast and even when that is complete, there will be no resident owned rezzable water. Valley Junction IS ALREADY CONNECTED to the main body of protected connected water. If you want to sail eastward across the Newbrooks, simply rez here http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Whatsup%20Dock/240/95/22

Hopefully it's coming sometime, eventually. That large area is awaiting a lot of development yet.
The railroad line unfinished in Otro Gallo is supposed to reach Shobu one day, where the station has been eagerly awaiting incoming trains for several years.
The entire coastline of this area between Captain Sparrow and Whatsup Duck should be finished sometime, this includes your request, Spirit.
Also very important that there is nothing in the way of continuing the railroad from Shobu heading east on the south coast whenever it will be built, and it could connect to the Newbrooke-Chalet loop in Grey Ghost. This, provided that the Otro Gallo - Shobu connection is in place as well, would connect all of Bellisseria's railroad lines, resulting in a continuous network longer than many in real life (actually the already connected network without the Newbrooke loop is already longer than many RL railroads.)
I think they are stuck in this area because the Sakura theme is just not popular, so they don't know how to proceed there. A row of extra stilt home regions west of Stranger Tides and a shoreline and waterway row to fill the gap would probably do the trick. And the same can be done on the other side as well. Fingers crossed.

Hello, and thank you for your feature request regarding adding sailable regions around Bellisseria. This suggestion has been brought up in the past and will be set to tracked. We have no estimate when it may be implemented, but please keep an eye on future updates. We appreciate your input and encourage you to continue sharing your ideas to help improve Second Life.
