UPDATE IMPORTANT
I did manage to find the cause of the issue Maestro.
There is no need to do a Rollback. The prims have been recuperated.
I started to inspect the island myself and using the Area Search tool in Firestorm I did manage to find the cause of the issue.
The land owner has a big castle on her island, an older castle from the year 2006 and 2007. Using Area Search I could check all Objects on the sim on their Land Impact and their Prims. I noticed two blocks of that castle showing 460 Land Impact and 22 prims.
Setting two blocks on the castle to Convex Hull recuperated all the prims.
Most likely the Rolling Restart of this week triggered this system glitch causing all the prims to get used up and on top of that showed the -362 prims.
The region is now back at 4484 prims and 516 prims available.
It is a shame things like this happen so you might want to look into prim calculations versus land impact again. It is not normal people their castle they purchased in the year 2006 and have on their land suddenly adds 920 prims in Land Impact after a Rolling Restart.
EVERYTHING IS OK NOW Maestro and no Rollback is needed.
Thank you
Maestro Linden
Count Burks: Thanks for the update! I'll call off the rollback. This case is still interesting to me (for future testing in dev environments) since we'd rather not have that glitch in the first place.

Maestro Linden On the island you will find a white castle made in 2006 - 2007. Next to the staircase that leads to the entry of the castle there are blocks on each side which belong to the castle. Those blocks have prim waterfalls. Those two blocks switched their Land Impact from 20 and 22 prims to 460 prims per block. You can inspect them, I think they make use of tortured prims which were often used during that time.
Thank you again.

The Homestead owner told me that her island was normal on tuesday and there were 300 prims available. So around 4700 prims were on the region before this took place. A day later after the Rolling Restart they could not rez and you have this weird situation where there are 362 extra prims on top of the normal 5000 prims which I have never seen before myself.
From what you are saying a person could rez a mesh object on a parcel, stretch it and then that would result into the fact they do not only consume all their prims but even go beyond capacity and then this would result into the ABOUT LAND window generating a message there is a shortage of -362 prims available?
I think the region would just prevent this from happening in the first place as otherwise this would be a recurring issue for many land owners in Second Life.
Also there is a shortage of -362 prims so if a person added 200 prims between 2025-10-18 22:20 SLT and 2025-10-20 22:20 SLT then there should already have been a shortage and nobody should be been able to rez anything since the region would already have been at -162 Land Impact before the 18th of October.
I do not know what took place but it is certainly not anything obvious.
I would suggest to do a Rollback to tuesday October 21 1.30 PM hoping to get the original state of the region back.
When people start to stretch their mesh objects for some reason they should never be allowed to go over the maximum parcel or region capacity with their prim or land impact usage.
The owners of the island told me they have only been decorating for Halloween.

Count Burks: Thanks for the info. I went back through the logs, and see that the parcel LI bloat occurred several hours after the roll on 2025-10-21, sometime between 20:04-21:04 SLT. Something happened to increase the total LI of objects owned by delores.beaumont (agent d3231e6d-03c0-4258-922c-db24e75b0b5c) by approximately 700 LI - resulting in the parcel overflowing state. I'm not sure exactly _what_ caused this yet - there were thousands of rez events in the region during that interval.
What generally _should_ happen when a parcel/region becomes past its LI limit, is that the region should return the object that was either rezzed or had its LI updated most recently. You might typically see the "N will be deleted" status in About Land if some avatar is selecting or sitting on a high LI object, but that condition should clear (and the object should be returned) once that selection/sitting event ends. For some reason, 'Dreamworld Lagoon' is stuck in that overflow state.
Unfortunately, I think we do need to do a simstate rollback to slightly before the event as opposed to a simple restart of the region. The last good simstate (prior to the LI bloat) I see is from 2025-10-21 20:03 SLT. I will contact support about this.

Hello Maestro,
The parcel owner told me it was fine on tuesday. I did receive this message from the person who owns the land.
[15:25] xxxxxx beaumont): I saw Maestro Linden checking things on the sim earlier so i hope we can get back to normal soon or they should do a roll back to tuesday at 1.30 pm when i know everything was ok

Hi Count Burks how certain is the parcel owner that the land impact for the region was less than 5363 prior to the rolling restart on October 21? I ask because there was no version change with the restart. Auditing the simstates, I see that somebody added a net of 200 prims to the region between 2025-10-18 22:20 SLT and 2025-10-20 22:20 SLT. At least some of the new objects are meshes, so this might account for the gain in LI.
