No group messages after relog.

From a relog to Last Location, or to a Specific Location (Favorites or typing SLURL), I don't get any group IMs. Have to logout, then login to Home to start getting group IMs. This I have reproduced using the official SL viewer, so it's not limited to Firestorm viewer.

Hi Lotus Setzer, in order to investigate this issue further, we need some details about a specific incident in order to see what's going wrong. Could you please try the following?:
- Login to an affected region, and do not move to a different region
- Ask a friend who is a member of a group you're in to send a message to the group
- If the bug was reproduced (you didn't see the message), note the following for this ticket:
3A. The name of the region you logged into
3B. The time of your login to the region
3C. The name of the group you tested with
3D. The name of the friend who sent you the message
3E. The timestamp and contents of the failed message
- Send us a copy of the viewer log from that session
4A. Exit the viewer
4B. Zip up your viewer logs folder. This page tells you where to find the logs folder: https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/how-to-report-a-bug-r224/
4C. Next, email the zip file to bug-attachments@lindenlab.com and reference the issue name in the email subject line.
With this information, we should hopefully have a better idea of what is causing the group chat failure.

So is it happening in a specific region or does it happen more generally?

Jellyfish it occurs across multiple regions, and generally if I relog To Last Location, or I login to one of my Favorites. To an extent, it's simply hitting login when normally chatty group chats are at a lull in conversations, but I have gone several hours without a single incoming group chat.

I still get this, on occasion, and it happens in multiple regions, especially if I use To Last Position on a relog. Since my initial query, I'm thinking the main "issue" is hitting a lull in group chats, when I relog...so, in general, a coincidence.

Hi Lotus Setzer! Just checking in as the last message was more than a month ago. Are you still getting this issue? Do you have a region you've seen it on specifically?

Jellyfish in case you don't see my comment...I believe it's mainly managing to hit a lull, for various chatty groups, when I relog. So, not really an issue, but more coincidence.

The region you were in may have had a problem. Can you tell us a region in which you see this issue?

Dan Linden it's not any one specific region, for this. I'll teleport to somewhere that I frequent, get to a point where I normally relog, and when I'm back via To Last Location I don't have any incoming group IMs. It also happens if I log out, then login to a Favorites location. Whether it's To Last Position, or to a Favorites location, once it's clear that I won't be getting any group IMs (I'm in several groups that can get rather chatty), the only thing I can do is relog to Home, then teleport back to whatever region I was at for a given event.
