Objects physically crossing between parcels of different ownership on mainland causes the object to not be detectable by sensors, raycasts, scripts, becomes invalid uuid
It fixes itself when edit moved, or sat upon.
Sometimes the object in the glitched state can disappear from rendering entirely.
Cannot return the object from a parcel while in the glitched state.
RLV cannot even force sit you even by uuid.
Collision event still picks up a uuid.

Affected Region 'Lyonet' has a Glitch where standing up from a Vehicle causes it to randomly De-Render, sometimes it can Re-Render when adjusting Draw Distance but after testing this a few times, sometimes only a Region Restart makes the Vehicle Re-Render. The Physics of the Vehicle is still present and can be walked on. Affected Object also does not show up on 'Area Search'
This happens totally at random with no consistency. This glitch has been affecting other users in the same Region who use different Viewers and different systems. Relogging & Clearing Cache also makes no difference.

TrishAce Resident: Actually it might get fixed faster than expected; it sounds like next server rollout? So I would not bother working around any potential issues in scripts for now.
The bug it's part of looks fairly in depth (and I am not the expert on it), but I think you can connect it to issues with objects seeming to disappear or not be detected by sensors. So if you're selling something that does either of those and those are failing, you can tell your customers that this might be why.

It probably keeps happening to him because he thinks the Route 1 parcel is his own and he parks his vehicles on his airport platform in the air above the roadway, on the road parcel and autoreturn gets them. That platform should have been removed years ago, but he extended it instead and it occupies the entire road parcel now.

Weird, did it come back when you re-logged? I'm wondering if it got auto-returned or if it was something the client failed to render.
Also can you tell us what vehicle you were using? For bugs that are intermittent like this it saves a lot of time to get as similar to the original problem as we can.

Jellyfish Nope. The Glitch is very inconsistent. Relogging, Clearing Cache, Altering Draw Distance and moving into another Region does not resolve the issue (It re-renders, de-renders sometimes when you move around as if it's right on the edge of Rendering Distance.) - A Region Restart seems to work temporarily but the issue still persists with newly used Vehicles. The issue also occurs with any Vehicle, I've had it happen on several Cars, Helicopters, Planes, and my Bicycles too. Like any Object that's been set physical and used by Scripts seems to de-render once it's been stood up out of, it doesn't occur when sat inside and the glitch does not occur before the Vehicle has been used, so simply rezzing a fresh Vehicle doesn't cause it to de-render until after it's been used.
It's such a very bizarre and Inconvenient bug that I can only Imagine will cause much more disruption on a wider scale of it affects all regions simultaneously, after sharing this Bug Report in the 'Drivers of SL' Group it's been confirmed that the issue is present on other sims.
This issue has only been present for about 2-3 weeks now and most definitely started occurring after a Wednesday Rolling Restart, which coincided with the Main Map name glitch which I thought may have been related. Prior to that, I've never ever experienced this before.
It's worth noting that the Vehicle's physics is still present when it's de-rendered and doesn't seem to alter the Regions Land Impact.

Sisko Aries: So it de-renders and then it re-renders? Are you watching when it re-renders? Or is it after re-launching the client, teleporting away, etc...?

Jellyfish Like I said, it's totally random and inconsistent, when it re-renders it instantly de-renders again and usually stays de-rendered. and camming out, TPing away and coming back, relogging etc. doesn't make it re-render. (it only sometimes randomly re-renders when moving camera around but most of the time it doesn't, and Region Restart is the only way it comes back)

I have flying keyframed objects like birds. They flap and fly around the whole sim and eventually repeat the flight path. Since the last sim update some of them simply vanish, only to reappear later.
This is not a draw distance issue. If you lock cam on a pelican you will see it flying some distance from origin and then vanish, it is as if the sim stops sending data to the viewer. Additionally, the scripted flapping of wings slows down as if the flap script is being throttled. It will sometimes reappear at places along the flight path but always reappear near the origin (they fly in a long loop - origin is where they start flying from).
The issue seems to be related to the distance of the flight loop and your position. Some birds/shark/stingray that move in a shorter loop behave normally.

Hi Robin Lobo and AddisonWilde Resident, thanks for the report. This looks like a different manifestation of the bug reported here, which reproduces on Second Life Server 2026-06-12.27437375581:
We have a fix for this bug on the beta grid, with server version 2026-06-25.28189172152. It is currently deployed to the ''Cloud Sandbox' regions, such as secondlife://Aditi/secondlife/Cloud%20Sandbox%201/128/128/2 , and is on track to go to all channels the main grid next week as a hotfix.
If you rez the seagull (or similar objects) at that beta grid location, does the issue appear fixed? If so, I think we can safely merge this issue into the other one.

Maestro Linden So this happens to Keyframed Motion as well. Explains why my Locomotive cannot hook to it's carriages, the sensor event simply does not pick them up. I have recieved customers complaining about that. I told them it must be this bug. So it is this bug.

I was able to reproduce and observe this from a second viewer.
One additional observation is that when the object "poofs," it is not merely invisible. It also disappears from Area Search, and if a beacon is active to the object, the beacon disappears as well. This suggests the viewer is no longer receiving updates for the object, rather than simply failing to render it.
The object consistently disappeared near the same point on its outbound flight, then reappeared as it approached its destination. When it became visible again, it also immediately reappeared in Area Search and the beacon resumed tracking it.
Tested in viewer: Firestorm 7.2.4 (80712)

The issue does not reproduce for me on 2026-06-25.28189172152 in Cloud Sandbox.
Also i am entirely able to reproduce it with the same steps just within the same parcel, i just have to move it far out so it goes out of sensor range, then grab and drag it back into range.
Object is not detected on the sensor once back in range on version 2026-06-12.27437375581, but is detected on 2026-06-25.28189172152
Hope this version rolls out to main channel soon.
