Why does a simple object transfer last almost an hour?

I am in Europe, and I experience your service deteriorating. At the moment I am trying to copy 25 elements from my inventory into a box that I just rezzed. So far I have waited 45 minutes for the process to complete. It is my experience that I can do such things without lag, when America sleeps. Is this really the way you want to treat your overseas customers?
I remember some years ago we were promised login points in different parts of the world. What happened to that?

Hi Anastacia Bloodrose, what you describe sounds like a bug. I suspect that the inventory items are actually copying into the box almost instantly, but that your viewer is taking a long time to load the items.
To confirm whether the copying itself is taking a long time (vs the viewer taking its time to load the object, could you try the following?:
- Rez a box and create the script below in it
- Select a few dozen copyable items from your inventory (such as the 30 textures under "Library" -> "Textures" -> "Atoll Textures") and drag them onto the object.
- Note how quickly the "inventory item count" number in the object's floating text updates to the final count

If I stop the process, will my inventory items be lost??
