Allow only 1 event to be posted to SL Events Calendar for the same timeslot at the same venue

A couple of venues in SL use multiple accounts to post entries in SL Events Calendar for the same shows. Example, a club owner might make a post for a show at 10 AM SLT and then post the same event as an alt, resulting in multiple entries for the single event. This is supposed to be against the rules - only one event listing per event - yet this "loophole" exists and gives venues who do this greater visibility and a higher chance at being a featured event. Plug the hole and even the playing field for those who follow the rules

We've implemented a change that should limit events to only one parcel at one time, which we hope will mitigate spamming more than our previous "deduping" logic. We've also reach out to our T&S team to notify them about recurring offenders to reach out to them.  
I will keep this ticket open in the mean time and close next week if all seems well.

Juniper Linden, I hope it starts to work soon because for 9/2 they have 16 listings for 6pm, and anywhere between 3-10 for every half-hour after that through the entire evening. Also their listings are still filled with the names of other venues!

Skye Galileo: This fix would be for any new events created, so anything made in the future will still be there unfortunately. I will follow up with support to see if they have contacted the user.

I would really like for 'group events' to exist so I can organize events within my group. Global events have their use, but most of the time I would want to run an event it would be something for my community.

Tonight, August 23rd--42 entries on the calendar for Foxxies between 6pm and 12pm and they are still using the names of other venues to bring their events up!

This is clearly an unfair use of the events calendar. Surely they understand that this is unfair competition. Linden lab should stop this!

For years, I’ve loved posting events and connecting with our amazing community. To make the event feed even better and fairer for all creators, I’d love to propose a quick upgrade to the website's listing system. Right now, some venues use multiple accounts to post the same event multiple times, which quickly pushes everyone else's listings down the queue. While it’s great to see venues so excited about their events, a small tweak to the Linden Lab coding could easily prevent these duplicates from crowding out other creators! Linden Lab, you guys are always improving our experience—could you look into a system update that keeps the event board fair, balanced, and diverse for every single event? Thanks

As a concrete example: for Sunday 8/9 the same DJ is playing from 6:30-10pm SLT. They have FORTY (40) listings! 14 @ 6pm, 6 @ 6:30 and 7pm, 3@ 7:30pm, 6 @ 8pm, 3 @ 8:30pm, and 2 @ 9pm. Also, in the titles of their events they are tacking on the names of other popular SL venues, like Frank's, Love, Calas, Harmony, Warehouse, Clouds, and Hotwife. How is this being allowed to continue?

I think one posting is enough. To many and no one will want to even look at the events anyone. One is enough and very fair. And no multiple accounts posting. Thats just wrong
