As a creator who's frustrated with people abusing the review system we need an overhaul... as we ALL know...
I have people that leave 1/2 star reviews asking for support with a product, when I reach out in world it's something they're doing wrong but they don't remove the poor review, for example. And of course the good old review of someone who didn't read the description before purchase...
Can we not implement some sort of system where a low review has to be justified first by making contact with the seller? Either directing someone to a simple CSR ticket system from the review page or giving the power to sellers where they CAN remove/hide a review instead of having to flag it. Make it Linden Labs responsibility to chase removed reviews rather than creator flagged reviews... rather than creators having to wait months for a flagged review to be dealt with?
Or a system where buyers get sanctioned if they constantly have their reviews flagged. At the very least some sort of notice or warning when someone leaves a bad review, a prompt to seek support first?
I rely on Second Life as my main source of income as I'm disabled and the way people treat the review system and the uphill struggle there is to have a review removed is not only stressful but damaging to sales.
We also really really need notifications when someone leaves a review... otherwise these people asking for help in the review section can be waiting a long time.
