They should have an advanced filter with blocked terms to enhance search, so you can filter out terms that you don't want to see. For example, if you're searching for a place to hang out, you can block terms like "lovense," "afk," or "sex" in the search filter.

Do you mean in your Inventory? Because there you CAN do a search like black+jeans (note NO SPACES) and get only items containing both words anywhere in the name.

Seconding this!!! I am so tired of all the MP stores THAT POST NOTHING BUT SPAM OR HAVE DISINGENUOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES!! I would love an option to keep certain stores/creators from ever showing up in my searches again! �

Would also like multi search terms, such as 'JEANS' and 'Black' (as an example) - also would be a nice feature to be able to DATE LIMIT/RANGE your search (such as items acquired AFTER yyyy-mm-dd, or BETWEEN yyyy-mm-dd & yyyy-mm-dd or {and I'm reaching here} items CREATED before a date, after a date or between two dates).
I know, here I go, making life difficult for the LL coders. (Sorry guys! But I think it would be a worthwhile enhancement)

Dutch Galaxy I can't speak for the LL viewer since I don't use it, but you can definitely do that on Firestorm!
Add a + between search terms to search for multiple things at once (ie: Reborn + Top)
You can also click the gear icon in your inventory, then hit "Show Filters..." to open a window with a TON of filtering options, including the ability to show items before or after a certain amount of time. It unfortunately doesn't do it by date, just by hours, days, or since logoff.

Screaming and shouting from the rooftops - We need this LIKE YESTERDAY! I would like to finally be able to see WHEN an item was posted or searching WITHIN SPECIFIED DATES! Having to go through searching hundreds of pages by Newest First is inefficient. I would rather search Best Selling within a date range. I could finally see what's been selling well the past week or day if they would just implement this feature!!
The marketplace is so dated and clunky I'm tired of coming across content that are sculpties or swimming through pages of spam from the same store because some creators automate their upload process and flood the MP.
Please LindenLab listen to us! There are great suggestions from everyone here!! 🙏
