Bay City Linden Homes
Bay City was great but it was tiny and it is hard to acquire plots. Linden Homes are great and it is easy to acquire a plot but they lack a community around them. Why not combine these two to create a community focused Linden Home in the style of Bay City? A new Linden Home that focuses on infrastructure, local communities and new mixed and commercial zoning. I want to be able to locate my plot near friends or be able to drive or boat down to their home. These new homes should also offer the option for full creative freedom and optionally having space for a basement area and should have access to the same high quality content that Moles create to make their home fit into the neighbourhood. There should be a little friction to go full creative, it's a last resort thing, but it must be possible, in the same way owning a bay city plot is. The friction should be in order of priority: Linden/Mole Buildings prebuilts Content Creator Buildings Limited Creativity - Grass/Concrete platform / basic infrastructure Full Creative - Rip out the concrete ground, let them build a basement, let them build stairs/ramps down to the waterways, they have to take responsibility for being in-theme / obeying the covenant. New secondary markets should be opened for custom city buildings, with good Level of Detail , for people to sell to the premium users. * This would create an incentive for premium / premium plus * Unlike other Linden Homes, they are as compact as Bay City * New communities * Urban Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Mixed Zoning as available preferences * Look at how modern cities design retail streets and combine it with how shopping region events work in SL like fantasy faire etc. * A revamped Bay City-like project and renewed excitement for Second Life again * Commercial opportunities for stores * Strong Infrastructure - roads, trains, subways, waterways/channels/rivers, public airports, public sailing docks, user-owned airports (yes, invite the airport community over, existing airports should be vetted and approved to build and manage an aiport within this continent), user-owned sailing docks (yes, invite the sailing community in by vetting and approving existing dock owner), public GTFO hubs, user-owned GTFO hubs (could be self-managed due to the commercial zoning?) * Ability to customise and integrate into the strong infrastructure - options to have a dock in the waterway (part of the infrastructure would have an indentation so it goes into the plot), options to have a road intersection branch into the plot + access to the Mole road/dock assets. Ability to have freedom to design own dock instead of prebuilt or marketplace. * Economic activity should be supported and encouraged, maybe even marketplace category/listings, with content creator guidelines. (This should also go hand in hand with new LI algorithm to encourage good level of detail usage so content creators but don't over think it with auto-LOD algorithms, thats complex work, let the market work for you) * Linden Home Covenant with regulation for airspace and building height (the large premium plus parcels could allow larger building heights / less restrictions) and obeying the parcel zoning for the city block * Potential to easily create an interactive web app map that allows for discovery and exploration because all the infrastructure and zoning is known

Relocate Shareta Osumai, other original Linden Home infohubs and some other regions to Bellisseria
The question of what would happen to the infohubs and other public features on the original Linden Home continents came up several years ago when Bellisseria was introduced and it was first hinted that the original LH continent and its copies would be shut down at some point. With the recent announcement that it is going to happen, this just became a pressing issue. This includes 10 regions: Shareta Osumai, Shareta Osumai Garden, Elderglen, Tahoe Springs, Meadowbrook, Hyperus, Cape Ekim, Libani, Blendard and Threesun. The Shareta Osumai infohub is probably one of the two most important out of these all, along with Cape Ekim. The Shareta Osumai build could fit perfectly into the Sakura area of Bellisseria. Not necessarily in its original form, but with Bellisseria's Sakura terrain and mesh trees instead of the old prim and sculpted ones. However the main features of the two regions are beautiful even if not state of the art quality and it would be foolish to simply remove them from SL's legacy. Cape Ekim is not only a unique build but also hosts a quest starting at the lighthouse and then involving the dragon. While 2008-2010 public builds by LL often feature hidden places to explore and quests or treasure hunts with collectible items, Bellisseria has little to no such features. Cape Ekim, due to its theme, could be added to the fantasy theme of Bellisseria. Libani, Blendard and Threesun host the Three Suns quest. Basically these regions could be moved to any part of Bellisseria where the layout of regions isn't complete yet, the only important thing about them is to place them close enough to each other so the quest wouldn't need much travel if someone doesn't want to teleport between the three regions. Hyperus features a large tree house that, while its interior isn't stunning, would look really great in the fantasy area of Bellisseria - probably only if you remade the building out of mesh, though. The design is too nice to just let it go forever. Elderglen would fit perfectly into the fantasy area of Bellisseria, especially since there are some interactive features: a fairy hunt and collectible items scattered around. The landscaping could be replaced with the high-quality items of the fantasy theme while keeping the inn and its features. Meadowbrook would obviously belong to its new counterpart, the Newbrooke theme in Bellisseria. Basically the features in this region could fit in there as is, probably the terrain would be the only thing to replace with the Newbrooke grassy terrain. The modern art pieces, while not mesh but sculpted, basically look just like what you can expect in the Newbrooke theme as well. Tahoe Springs... personally I have to say this build is such a low quality compared to all of the above that this could just go down, but I attached some photos of this too. There are a few similar community buildings at the trailer and log home areas of Bellisseria, so this one doesn't seem to be as important as the other ones. It would be nice to have these regions preserved. If for some reason they couldn't be integrated in Bellisseria (even though the only thing about them is the lack of mesh items since they're from 2009) it would be appreciated if they could be moved to some museum estate on their own so people could still visit and explore them.
