I can only read IM, Sending IM to friends does not seem to work for me with the latest version, when i type i get several lines of dots with the message above (unknown user). I have android 14 installed

It seems there is no way to save chat history, neither a clear way to learn if it's stored locally or not. An option to export it, or at least set a local folder as with desktop viewers would be good. Despite the category here, it would applies to all types of chats.
